Job Description and Position Requirements

The Eberly College of Science, Department of Physics is seeking applicants for a part‑time Research Assistant position.

• The applicant will be expected to conduct gravitational wave data analysis for the Penn State LIGO group including searches for compact binary mergers and developing methods, models and software to support these activities.

• The applicant is required to have significant post‑graduate experience with LIGO data analysis and research in gravitational wave physics.

20 hours weekly

The starting rate for this job is $25.
