- participation in the project’s research on European security policy and Polish-German relations;
- conducting literature searches and collecting research materials;
- supporting qualitative research, including the preparation, conduct, transcription and analysis of expert interviews, as well as discourse analysis;
- development and analysis of research data;
- participation in the preparation of academic publications, policy briefs and research results dissemination;
- supporting the organization of expert workshops, such as the foresight workshop and work on the European security environment development scenarios;
- cooperation with the project partners in Poland and abroad and participation in the research results dissemination activities.

Skills/Qualifications GENERAL REQUIREMENTS- a track record of publications or preparation of doctoral dissertation in scientific disciplines listed above;
- Proficiency in Polish and German sufficient to read and conduct interviews;
- Proficiency in spoken and written English sufficient to publish in English;
- Experience in data collection and analysis, such as conducting interviews with decision-makers in Poland and Germany;
- Experience working with the scenario method.
- this position is planned for 16 months;
- work will be done remotely during online team meetings and stationary meetings in Warsaw and Berlin, according to the project’s schedule.
- the PhD student status or the status of a person preparing a doctoral thesis as an external candidate at a doctoral-awarding institution in one of the following disciplines: political sciences, security studies, international relations or sociology;
