** POSITION SPECIFICS
**** The Department of Nutritional Sciences
** in the
** College of Health and Human Development
** is seeking a
** Human Research Technologist.
** This position will work on a Federally funded longitudinal study on pediatric obesity prevention and will oversee protocol development, participant recruitment, and day-to-day execution of the study.
** CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Develop standard operating procedures for a Federally funded longitudinal study in children
* Establish data collection forms, surveys, and protocol instructions in Redcap for delivery
* Work as part of an inter-disciplinary team with full-time staff members, faculty, and graduate students to implement a pipeline for participant recruitment, data collection, and data processing
* Assign data processing and laboratory testing procedures to undergraduate research assistants
* Assist with ongoing and planned recruitment activities and identify new recruitment opportunities in the community and network with community stakeholders to disseminate information about ongoing studies
* Deliver training to research assistants to ensure successful adherence to study protocol
* Coordinate with other research staff to complete purchases for study materials and foods and rectify expenses in a timely fashion
** QUALIFICATIONS
* ** The successful candidate should have experience with conducting human research studies in the field of nutrition or a related field.
* Experience working with children and families.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
** MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
** Associate Degree No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education.

** SALARY & BENEFITS
** The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $40,608.00 - $58,836.00.
