Brief Summary of Work for this PositionThe purpose of this position is to assist Dr. Schweikert in managing the operations of the Evolutionary Neuroecology Laboratory and to facilitate new and ongoing research in collaboration with laboratory personnel. The employee will complete a variety of organizational, clerical, and scientific assignments critical to the research and educational mission of the Schweikert Lab. This is an in-person position, with the possibility of some remote work;
however, the physical presence of the technician in the laboratory will often be required. The managerial responsibilities of the position are of equal priority to advancing the laboratory's scientific research. As managerial tasks are completed, research productivity will be supported and encouraged.
