Part-time Research Support

Dr. Amy Moore in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Penn State is hiring a motivated, detail-oriented individual for a part-time position to assist with research projects on nutrition, health, and well-being in community-based settings, particularly among families in rural communities. This position provides hands‑on research experience.

• Assist with the development of research materials, including the design and review of intervention and recruitment materials and data collection instruments.
• Assist with data collection and maintaining research records, including detailed spreadsheets and data tracking systems.
• Conduct searches of and document scientific literature related to lab research projects.
• Participate in community‑engaged activities with the research team.

Preference will be given to someone with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
