We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.
We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.
Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.
About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior User Experience Researcher (Sr. UXR) to help us understand and improve the journey from first considering mental healthcare to finding the right care and successfully getting started.
You’ll lead research focused on the patient experience, helping us understand what builds confidence and trust across the journey from first discovering Rula to booking and attending a first session. You'll identify opportunities, frame ambiguous product questions, and translate patient insights and behavioral data into clear recommendations that shape what we build, test, and prioritize.
You’ll sit within the User Research team, while working closely with Product, Design, Data/Analytics, and Marketing to ensure product decisions are grounded in rigorous research and a deep understanding of our patients.
This is a highly autonomous role. We're looking for someone who can identify the questions worth answering, determine the right research approach, lead studies end-to-end, and influence decisions with their findings. You'll have meaningful ownership over a product area while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to drive measurable improvements in the patient experience.
