Bioinformatician-Computational Biologist

Responsibilities

• Develop computational methods, tools & algorithms for mass spectrometry-based proteomics data analysis
• Design and implement new Frag Pipe modules for DIA and metaproteomics analysis
• Maintain and improve existing Frag Pipe modules, including debugging and software updates
• Support Proteomics Core collaborations with bioinformatics analysis and data interpretation
• Collaborate on proteogenomics studies by performing multi-omics data analysis
• Generate scientific manuscripts and technical documentation

• Ph.D in Bioinformatics or closely related field + 3 years of post-doctoral experience in mass spectrometry-based computational proteomics and software development, including developing tools or algorithms for proteomics data analysis
• Programming in Java
• Publishing at least 3 published articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of mass-spectrometry-based computational proteomics
