Responsibilities
- Develop computational methods, tools & algorithms for mass spectrometry-based proteomics data analysis
- Design and implement new Frag Pipe modules for DIA and metaproteomics analysis
- Maintain and improve existing Frag Pipe modules, including debugging and software updates
- Support Proteomics Core collaborations with bioinformatics analysis and data interpretation
- Collaborate on proteogenomics studies by performing multi-omics data analysis
- Generate scientific manuscripts and technical documentation
- Ph.D in Bioinformatics or closely related field + 3 years of post-doctoral experience in mass spectrometry-based computational proteomics and software development, including developing tools or algorithms for proteomics data analysis
- Programming in Java
- Publishing at least 3 published articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of mass-spectrometry-based computational proteomics
