Part-Time Forest Community Dynamics Support

The Ecosystem Science and Management Department is seeking research support and data management.

Duties include:

• Data entry into database from long-term forest health monitoring conducted in eight national parks in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
• Quality control of entered data.
• Clean up and organization of field-work related files such as monitoring photographs and scanned datasheets.
• Creating spatial files in ArcGIS of plot and parking locations, tracks, etc.
• Summarize forest health information for reporting to park managers in spatial, tabular, and written formats.
• Create science communication pieces about forest health in national parks.

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
