Seeking a part-time Research Area Specialist Associate to join the team of Dr. Joyce Lee at the Susan

B. Meister Child Health Evaluation and Research Center, Department of Pediatrics. The Research Assistant will have the opportunity to provide research support on projects related to child health, obesity and diabetes.

B. Meister Child Health Evaluation and Research Center, Department of Pediatrics. The Research Assistant will have the opportunity to provide research support on projects related to child health, obesity and diabetes.

• Conduct literature reviews
• Verify and validate clinical data where needed
• Assist with the preparation of tables and figures
• Draft Manuscripts
• Submit manuscripts
• Other duties as assigned by Principal Investigators

• Proficiency in conducting literature reviews in Pub Med and other similar databases
• Proficiency in the use of Michart;
  End Note; MS Office:
  Word, PowerPoint, Excel; R or other programming/analysis software
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent attendance, ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, manage deadlines without undue stress and exercise good judgment
