• Support cooking and food preparation according to recipes and production guidelines while adhering to food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures.

• Knowledge of food and beverage products, preparation, and handling techniques.

• Principles and processes for providing customer service, including needs assessment and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

• Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years progressively responsible culinary experience; hotel background and supervisory experience preferred.

• Licenses:
• Valid Food Handlers Permit.

• Comply with company programs, policies, procedures, and brand standards; work independently and manage time to meet productivity requirements.
• Maintain a neat and clean workstation and meet quality standards for service.
• Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Remain calm under pressure and during changing situations.
• Wear appropriate uniform and name badge; maintain personal cleanliness as prescribed by policy.
• Establish and maintain professional, courteous relationships with guests, staff and management.

Medium work:
Must be able to stand, walk, reach, push, pull, bend, grasp, crouch, carry and lift as required by the job. Frequently exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
