Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk, functioning as an In-Store Grocery Shopper, is responsible for selecting and gathering products efficiently with attention to freshness and quality.

Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.

Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival.

Scan and bag orders following all standards.

Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.

Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.

Adhere to all applicable laws, safety procedures, and company policies.

Store products in optimal temperature zones according to order guidelines.

Follow directions in order notes.

Ensure all items are of high quality and freshness.

Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone.

Ensure order accuracy and load orders into customers' vehicles.

Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat online shopping.

Process orders through the POS system.

Handle substitutions appropriately if items are out of stock.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment.

Report discrepancies or equipment issues to management.

Perform opening and closing procedures as required.

Assist in training new team members.

Meet or exceed productivity standards.

Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively.

Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.

Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.

Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Ability to work independently.
Ability to read shelf tags.
Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

Experience:

Experience as a personal shopper, in warehouse or production environments, stocking, or cashier roles.
