Job Description
Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at store for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to on-line shopping. Responsibilities- Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper selects and gathers products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
- In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection process for customers' online orders.
- Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes coupons and payments, and delivers and loads orders to cars for pickup.
- In-Store Grocery Shopper scans and bags orders while following bagging standards.
- E-Commerce team communicates substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup time.
- Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Receive customer orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
- Read and follow directions, ensure quality and freshness of all items, and communicate with customers professionally.
- Retrieve customer orders from staging locations and load orders into customers' cars; provide a positive customer service experience.
- Process orders through the POS system and follow substitution policies when items are out of stock.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment; report discrepancies and item location issues to the e-Commerce supervisor.
- Inspect equipment and notify management of items in need of repair.
- Perform required opening and closing procedures and assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
- Meet/exceed productivity standards; work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Handle conflicts in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner; act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues.
- Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to read shelf tags
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Desired Previous
Experience:- Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier
