Now, we’re rolling into the digital space with the launch of our online merchandise store—featuring branded t-shirts, merch, and skate-inspired apparel—and we’re looking for an experienced E-Commerce Specialist to bring it to life.
Position OverviewWe’re seeking a skilled E-Commerce Specialist (Freelance/Contractor) to build and launch our online merch store from the ground up. This is a project-based, fully remote role focused on creating a seamless, user-friendly e-commerce experience integrated with print‑on‑demand fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities- Build, customize, and launch an e‑commerce store using platforms such as Shopify, Woo Commerce, or similar
- Integrate print‑on‑demand (POD) services (e.g., Printify, Printful) to support custom apparel and merchandise
- Configure product catalogs, payment gateways (Stripe, Pay Pal), inventory workflows, and customer service tools
- Optimize site performance for SEO, mobile responsiveness, and user experience, including basic design enhancements
- Implement analytics and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Klaviyo, email campaigns, social integrations)
- Provide strategic recommendations for merchandising, pricing, and promotions tailored to a roller skating audience
- Ensure compliance with e‑commerce best practices, including tax setup, returns, and data security
- 2–5+ years of hands‑on e‑commerce setup and management experience (apparel or merch preferred)
- Strong expertise with Shopify (certification a plus) and POD integrations
- Working knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, analytics, and basic web development
- Familiarity with graphic design tools or merchandise workflows (collaboration experience is a plus)
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to deliver a launch‑ready store within weeks
- Experience supporting multi‑location retail brands is a plus (we operate 21 skating centers nationwide)
- Competitive freelance compensation: $40–$55/hour
