Plant​/Mulch Concierge; Part-Time, Remote

Do you have a passion for gardening and talking about it?

Would you like to do some “work” (ifyou’rethe right person, you might not even think of it as work!)fromhome –chattingwithpeople via email about plants,gardeningand mulch – so they can make their gardens more awesome?

Our Chicago-area Plant Club () helps members get plants for their gardens via our website as well as mulch deliveries for those who want it.

We need someone to:

• Answer emailed questions from club members, help them find stuff on the website, or introduce them to an expert who can help (for instance, we have a team of garden coaches)
• Work with mulch customers and our delivery partner to order mulch and ensure things go smoothly
• Make sure members havea good experience.

You’llhave the opportunity to:

• Talk with lots of people about plants and their gardens
• Continue learning every day about plants and gardening while you help others
• Make a difference in people’s yards and neighborhoods

You’ll:

• Have great written communications skills and a passion for helping others
• Be as comfortable working on a computer as in the garden
• Already be online a lot, so quickly responding to periodic emailsisn’ta burden
• Have a meaningful background in plant retail, landscape design, horticulture, and/or gardening experience
• You’llknow about the sorts of specific plants and mulch we sell, andcan share your wisdom

We’re located in the northern suburbs of Chicago, but you don’t need to be.
