Job Description

Select and gather products for customers' online orders in an efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver orders to customers' vehicles when they arrive for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Select and gather products for online orders efficiently while maintaining freshness and quality.
  • Initiate and complete selection process for online orders.
  • Assemble online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders into customers' vehicles at pick up.
  • Scan and bag orders on the go following bagging standards.
  • Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick up.
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
  • Receive orders from Order Selector according to guidelines and store products in optimal temperature zones.
  • Read and follow directions in the note section and ensure quality and freshness of items selected.
  • Communicate with customers via portable phone and respond to calls professionally and timely.
  • Retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations, ensure order accuracy, and load order into customers' cars.
  • Process orders through the POS system and determine appropriate substitutions when items are out of stock.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
  • Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the supervisor.
  • Inspect equipment and notify supervisor of items needing repair.
  • Perform required opening and closing procedures and assist in training new team members.
  • Meet productivity standards and work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Provide support through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Ability to read shelf tags.
  • Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired Previous Experience
  • Experience as a personal shopper or in a production‑oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier.
