The Retail Store Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, driving sales performance, managing staff, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily store activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Foster a positive team environment focused on collaboration and accountability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising, and visual presentation according to guidelines
  • Monitor and optimize store processes to improve efficiency
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise store employees
  • Create weekly schedules and manage labor costs to meet business needs
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions
  • Lead by example to promote company culture and values
  • Effectively communicate with both team members and departments
  • Have a solid understanding of all compliance regulations provided by the CRA
  • Own and manage all retail store KPIs, Including sales performance, conversion rates, average order value, units per transaction, labor efficiency, customer satisfaction metrics, and inventory accuracy.
  • Meet and exceed store sales goals and standards of performance
  • Coach, motivate, and develop team members to ensure excellence in sales, customer service, and processes
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues effectively
  • Manage receiving, maintaining, and monitoring of Inventory
  • Responsible for accurate deposits and cash handling
  • Support Marketing and promotions
  • Ensure visual excellence through product placement, closing standards, and implementation of seasonal set-ups from Home Office.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the business including opening and closing the store as need
  • Has initiative to take on tasks, set own priorities and deadlines and solve problems in the moment
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior management experience in a retail environment preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of retail sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal and group communication skills
  • Computer and information technology skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of business.
  • Must be 21 years or older with the ability to pass a criminal background check.
