Product Category Lead — Fragrance & Beauty Leadership

Summary

The Assistant Manager, Product will act as a brand ambassador and business leader for assigned product categories (Fragrance & Beauty, Eyewear, and Other Accessories), partnering with the Boutique Director to drive category performance and deliver exceptional client experiences. This role requires in-store leadership, coaching a diverse sales team, and managing product assortments, analysis, and reporting in partnership with the Home Office buying team.

The Assistant Manager will represent the brand in the market and help grow the client base through community and partnership initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coach and inspire the sales team through regular floor presence to deliver elevated client experiences.
• Provide initial and ongoing training on CHANEL savoir faire, product details, and service delivery.
• Drive all aspects of the assigned product category including analysis, reporting, and assortment planning.
• Partner with the Home Office buying team on assortment and inventory decisions.
• Lead the team with agility, using KPIs to improve business performance continually.
• Represent CHANEL in the market and develop the client base via local partnerships and events.
• Maintain boutique image and operational standards to support business results.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven communication and team leadership skills with a passion for client experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
• Foreign language skills preferred.
