- Lead the retail team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and meet store financial plans by making strong decisions focused on employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment.
- Assess and strategize performance goals (Conversion, Units Per Transaction, Sales Per Hour, and other measurable KPIs).
- Use company tools and resources to analyze the business and create plans to celebrate wins and address areas of opportunity.
- Recruit, hire, pay, and terminate all levels of store personnel, including members of store management.
- Manage employee relations issues, including coaching and conflict resolution, ensuring all associates follow Beyond Yoga and LS&CO Operational Excellence policies and procedures.
- Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires on Beyond Yoga culture, product knowledge, selling culture, and other responsibilities.
- Coach staff to increase knowledge and create succession plans for promotion.
- Manage store scheduling to meet payroll plans and labor cost goals, adjusting based on weekly and monthly sales and store traffic.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including receiving and sending merchandise, price changes and ticketing, and loss prevention through customer service education and monitoring daily store activity.
- Implement visual merchandising standards and adapt them to store layout and needs, ensuring product presentation tells a story and is compelling to customers.
- Maintain appropriate product levels on the sales floor by directing floor replenishment.
- Create a compelling in-store experience by engaging in modeling appropriate selling and service behaviors with associates.
- Build relationships naturally, embrace individuality, and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion.
- Collaborate with store team and Home Office partners to build community connections and execute engaging events that drive brand engagement.
- Act as a brand ambassador who embodies and cultivates the company’s core values.
- Enjoy busy, fast-paced environments with multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Collaborate as a role model exhibiting behaviors aligned with inclusion and belonging.
- Be a self-starter with a growth mindset, comfortable learning new tools and adapting to initiatives.
- Possess progressive retail leadership experience with proven skills in supervision, coaching, and training.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically capable of essential duties: lift up to 40 pounds, stand, walk, kneel, squat, crouch, bend, stoop, talk, hear, reach, type, climb ladders; reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
- Have reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Compensation ranges from $64,700.00 to $ annually, varying with experience and qualifications. Salary may be adjusted based on location, business needs, and performance.
LocationSan Clemente, CA (BY Outlet). Position is full time.
