Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk

Select and gather products for customers' online orders with efficiency, attention to freshness and quality, assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders to vehicles for customer pickup. • Experience as a personal shopper, in a production‑oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier.

• Select and gather products for customer online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, deliver and load orders into vehicles when customers arrive.
• Scan and bag orders while following all bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers during pickup.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders from the Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and read directions in the note section.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
• Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond to calls professionally and promptly.
• Retrieve each customer’s order from staging locations, ensure order accuracy, and load orders into customers’ vehicles.
• Process orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
• Determine appropriate substitutions when items are out of stock.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and temperature violations to the e‑Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify supervisors of repairs needed.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new e‑Commerce team members.
