Offline Sales Manager, $60k, US, Remote, US retail

I'm looking to connect with an experienced Offline Sales Manager for a full-time remote opportunity based in the United States. This role reports directly into senior commercial leadership and focuses on driving offline retail growth for an innovative consumer tech product entering large-scale US distribution.

The role

You’ll take full ownership of the offline sales pipeline, including identifying retail opportunities, pitching buyers, securing listings, managing distributors and rep groups, coordinating onboarding and driving strong in-store sell-through. This suits someone who knows how to break into major retailers and build long-term commercial partnerships in the consumer electronics or gaming space.

What you’ll be doing
  • Develop and execute a national retail expansion strategy across big-box, regional and specialty stores
  • Pitch to buyers, category managers and merchandising teams
  • Build and manage relationships with distributors, sales rep groups and brokers
  • Negotiate pricing, margins, quantities and promotional allowances
  • Manage listings, onboarding, planograms, merchandising needs and in-store execution
  • Prepare line sheets, sales materials and retailer-specific decks
  • Support in-store displays, demo units and seasonal promotional pushes
  • Track metrics including sell-in, sell-through, margins, velocity and returns
  • Build forecasts and share insights with marketing, supply chain and product teams
  • Maintain pricing discipline and prevent channel conflict
What I’m looking for
  • 2 to 5 years of retail sales, offline business development or distribution experience
  • A proven track record securing listings with US retailers
  • Experience working with buyers, distributors and rep groups
  • Background in consumer electronics, gaming or toys
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Solid understanding of retail economics and logistics
  • Able to work independently and manage a full sales pipeline
  • Willing to travel for retail meetings and events
Nice to have
  • Experience launching new hardware or emerging tech
  • Existing relationships with major US retailers or rep groups
  • Strong knowledge of US retail calendars, trade shows and buyer cycles
