Right now, we need a Manager of Category & Retail Insights to provide clear visibility into Pabst’s retail and category performance and translate that data into actionable recommendations that drive commercial growth. This role strengthens how Pabst shows up with retailers by transforming market, shopper, and brand performance data into simple, compelling stories. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Brand, and the Insights & Intelligence Team lead to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and support retailer initiatives.

Operating within a lean, integrated Insights team, this role blends analytics, commercial thinking, and storytelling to help the organization make faster, smarter, and more informed decisions.

What you'll do:

• Build retailer-ready category stories and insights presentations that strengthen Pabst’s credibility with key accounts
• Analyze syndicated and retailer data to identify trends, performance drivers, risks, and growth opportunities across brands, packs, channels, and retailers
• Collaborate with Sales, Shopper Marketing, and Finance to support Joint Business Planning (JBP) with actionable, insight-led recommendations for assortment, pricing, shelving, and promotion strategies
• Monitor competitive activity, category shifts, and macro retail trends; communicate implications clearly to leadership
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and scorecards that simplify reporting and focus on insights that matter;
  Shifting the team from data production to insight-driven storytelling
• Support leadership visibility by contributing concise insights to performance readouts, executive summaries and retailer-facing updates

What you'll need:

• 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Retail Insights, or similar analytics roles within CPG
• Hands-on experience with syndicated data sources (NIQ, Circana) and retailer data portals
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets to deliver insigh-let recommendations
• Ability to turn data into simple, visual insights for Sales, Brand and Leadership
• Advanced excel skills; familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration and time management skills
• Strategic, forward-thinking mindset

• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills that simplify complexity
• Self-starter mindset – able to prioritize independently and thrive without micromanagement
• Commercial acumen with an understanding of retailer needs, category dynamics and price/promo drivers

This is a remote position, however, regular quarterly travel to San Antonio, TX will be required. Bi-weekly travel may be required during the first 90 days of onboarding.
