Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk

Smith's Food and Drug, part of The Kroger Company, seeks an Online Grocery Pick‑Up Clerk based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, paying close attention to freshness and quality.

Assist customers by processing coupons and payment, delivering and loading orders into vehicles for in‑store pick‑up.

Scan and bag orders while maintaining bagging standards.

Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick‑up, using a portable phone and responding promptly.

Check order accuracy, load orders into customers' cars, and ensure products are stored in optimal temperature zones.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment.

Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Perform opening and closing procedures as required.

Assist in training new team members and meet or exceed productivity and customer service standards.

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production/warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier.
