Footwear Buyer/Assistant Buyer ‘26

Glik’s is seeking a data & fashion-driven assistant buyer to support in the tasks of a senior buyer.

• Assist in driving the business forward by purchasing the best possible product for our varying markets
• Manage & analyze product performance by pulling and drawing key takeaways from various reports
• Present on category performance and the “why” behind sales trends
• Attend line reviews at various markets and in the home office to aid in assortment decisions
• Create items & POs within Glik’s internal system to hand off to vendors
• Make data driven allocation decisions to ensure stores are receiving the product they need
• Set prices and promotions using understanding of company margin goals & customer purchasing habits
• Conduct trend & market research to ensure Glik’s continues as a fashion leader
• Communicate with vendors & Glik’s stores on a daily basis with a relationship-building mentality

• A lover of fashion and trends
• Eagerness to grow analytical abilities and our position as a fashion leader in each market
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Excel & Outlook
• Ability to manage various timelines at once, thinking both on your feet and planning into the future
• Can think critically with a high attention to detail
• Strong mathematical skills, especially as they relate to retail
• Can interpret data to draw key takeaways from tangible performance
• Loves working in a team environment where interpersonal skills are important
• Bachelor's degree required & experience in a buying role and/or the retail industry is a plus
