General FunctionResponsible for ensuring online orders are efficiently and accurately transported and loaded for online shoppers, including organizing, gathering, and loading online orders.

Reports to: District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Manager of Store Operations, Perishables, Health Wellness Home, Online Shopping Department Manager

Primary Duties And Responsibilities- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, wherever the encounter occurs.
- Names customers when possible to personalize service.
- Assists customers by:
- Escorting them to products they’re looking for
- Securing out of reach products
- Loading or unloading heavy items
- Noting and conveying customer suggestions or requests
- Performing any tasks that enhance the shopping experience.
- Answers the telephone and emails promptly, providing friendly service.
- Upon gathering orders, places them in storage at proper temperature and retrieves them promptly before customer arrival.
- Ensures all products maintain proper temperature throughout the process.
- Cart orders to holding area for pickup.
- Lifts, carries, and loads groceries into a customer’s vehicle.
- Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines.
- Reports to work on schedule and on time.
- Selects, scans, and bags items from all temperature zones.
- Tenders customer orders through POS and charges the customer’s credit card.
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements- Visual: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
- Medium work: lifting or carrying objects no more than 50 pounds, frequent standing, walking, lifting/carrying of objects no more than 25 pounds.
- Physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions.
Mostly performed in a retail store setting. Can be exposed to dust, noise, temperature extremes. Possible hazards from moving equipment and electrical shock. Constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Equipment Used to Perform JobPallet jack, box cutter, cash registers, trash compactor, forklift, calculator, telephone, intercom, cardboard compactor, copier, fax (within wage and hour guidelines).
ContactsDaily contact with store personnel, customers, and general public.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen.
