We are currently recruiting National Account Managers for a leading privately held consumer products manufacturer seeking to drive growth across major retail and e-commerce partners. This highly visible role will manage and expand key national accounts — with a strong focus on multiple major accounts in Food, Drug Mass & Club channels (ex. Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Costco, BJ’s, and marketplace platforms).
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, data‑driven sales professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and has direct experience developing retailer relationships, executing joint business plans, and managing both in‑store and online channels.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, grow, and optimize sales with existing national retail accounts.
- Develop and execute joint business plans with retail buyers to drive category growth and profitability.
- Leverage omni‑channel best practices to maximize product visibility and sales across in‑store, online, and marketplace platforms.
- Plan and implement product placement, promotional, and pricing strategies.
- Use POS and syndicated data tools (Retail Link, Nielsen, IRI, etc.) to analyze performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product Development to ensure flawless retail execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail decision‑makers and buyers.
- Stay current on OTIF/SQEP metrics, modular resets, and promotional planning requirements.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in managing consumer product sales within CPG
- Proven success managing major national retailers such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, Costco, Sam’s Club, etc.
- Strong understanding of category management, promotional execution, and retail scorecards.
- Experience with Retail Link, Scintilla, Nielsen, IRI, or Circana preferred.
- Skilled in developing data‑backed insights and storytelling for retail partners.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail reporting tools.
