Store Manager, Beyond Yoga- Santa Monica

Responsibilities

• Lead the retail team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, meeting store financial plans and driving employee engagement.
• Assess and strategize performance goals such as Conversion, Units Per Transaction, Sales Per Hour, and other KPIs; use company tools to develop action plans.
• Recruit, hire, and make personnel decisions (pay and termination) for all store levels; hire and develop talent, manage employee relations, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and development of staff in Beyond Yoga culture, product knowledge, selling culture, and responsibilities; create succession plans.
• Manage payroll, store scheduling, and labor costs to match traffic patterns; ensure adequate staffing.
• Maintain inventory management, accuracy of receiving and sending merchandise, price changes, ticketing, loss prevention and daily store activities.
• Execute visual merchandising standards, making decisions on layout and presentation to tell a compelling story.
• Ensure product availability on the floor through replenishment planning.
• Create a compelling store experience by modeling selling and service behaviors for associates.
• Build relationships with the local community, collaborate with Home Office partners for brand engagement events.

• Progressive retail leadership experience with skills in supervising, coaching, and training.
• Strong history of hiring and developing talent and coaching for performance improvement.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform required job functions (stand, walk, kneel, bend, etc.).
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Growth mindset, self‑starter, adaptable to new tools and initiatives.

Santa Monica, CA, USA

Annual salary range: $64,700 to $107,900. Salary depends on experience, education, and business needs.

• 3 weeks paid time off in the first year, increasing to 4+ weeks thereafter.
