Position: Assistant Store Leader- Operations (Baybrook Mall)

Position Overview

The Assistant Store Leader of Operations leads and supports the Store Leader by directing activities required to achieve all store goals, including best-of-class guest service, sales objectives, operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation, while driving both associate and guest engagement.

Process
  • Consistently meets or exceeds store and individual goals and contributes to the store’s overall goals.

  • Co-leads floor sets/refresh management.
  • Manages and oversees scheduling.
  • Manages back of house organization.
  • Manages shipment and product prep process.
  • Plans and manages merchandise markdown process.
  • Manages supply orders, maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Manages inventory/damages audits and banking and loss-prevention systems.
  • Trains new associates on operational processes.
  • Co-manages payroll and is responsible for the store’s financial performance.
  • Responsible for decisions regarding store operations and planning.
  • Controls workflow through successful planning and delegation.
  • Executes task directives within designated time frames.
  • Completes opening/closing procedures.
  • Adheres to loss-prevention practices and reports potential incidents to ensure shortage control.
  • Communicates effectively with the executive team.
Presentation
  • Utilizes and manages the use of weekly reporting to track, analyze, and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize sales.
  • Interprets Home Office communication through Store Leader / District Leader partnership.
  • Partners with the Visual District Leader and Visual Assistant Store Leader to oversee and manage the roll-out of floorsets, window sets, fixture placement, and overall visual environment.
  • Maintains an awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment and communicates with the team.
  • Communicates performance observations and offers feedback to the District Leader.
Additional Responsibilities

Must be able to lift and carry heavy boxes (up to 30 lbs).

Qualifications
  • 1 year of Retail Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently; occasional climbing of ladders or stairs may be required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs regularly without assistance.
