- Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store.
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee’s designated department or elsewhere in the store.
- Makes an effort to learn customers’ names and addresses them by name whenever possible.
- Assists customers by escorting them to the products they are looking for.
- Secures products that are out of reach.
- Loads or unloads heavy items.
- Notes and passes along customer suggestions or requests.
- Performs other tasks in every way possible to enhance the shopping experience.
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
- Selects, scans, and bags items from all temperature zones.
- Tenders customer orders through POS and charges the customer’s credit card.
- Places gathered orders in storage at proper temperature and promptly retrieves them prior to customer arrival.
- Ensures products maintain proper temperature through the entire process.
- Carts items to and places them in the holding area for pick‑up.
- Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines.
- Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
- Loads groceries into a customer vehicle.
- Continually monitors incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on‑time fulfillment.
- Performs other job‑related duties and special projects as required.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical RequirementsVisual: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction. Mobile: must lift or carry objects up to 50lb occasionally; frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying objects up to 25lb. Must perform stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
Working ConditionsMostly performed in a retail store setting. May be exposed to dust, noise, and temperature extremes. Possible hazards from moving equipment and electrical shock. Constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects; fast‑paced environment.

CompensationHourly starting wage: $13.00 to $16.25 depending on experience.
Employment ConditionsEmployment contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen.
