The Team Lead is responsible for the daily operation of the car wash facility and for delivering excellent customer service.

• Organize shift schedules for team members
• Monitor attendance, tardiness and time off
• Assign duties to specific employees based on role and skills
• Supervise employees and assist with tasks as necessary
• Manage employee requests and transgressions
• Train new and current team members on tasks
• Handle customer issues and resolve conflicts
• Adhere to company policies and health, safety, and employment standards
• Balance cash drawers and prepare cash deposits

• Greet customers courteously and explain available wash services; take and process wash payments
• Clean the facility and keep all equipment (water hoses, nozzles, brushes, soap buckets, broom, hand tools, pressure washer, grease gun) organized and in the proper place
• Assist customers with all aspects of the car wash process
• Move or direct cars into the express wash tunnel with a friendly, focused, and competent attitude
• Provide directional assistance to customers while ensuring safety procedures are followed
• Perform a visual inspection of vehicles before sending them into the wash area
• Ensure company policies and safety procedures are adhered to during daily tasks
• Keep vacuums unclogged, trash cans emptied, and hoses properly hung
• Maintain a sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly for customers, the home office, and teammates

• Display a courteous and professional attitude
• Have excellent customer service skills to ensure optimum satisfaction
• Be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Lift items of moderate weight
• Work outdoors and handle all weather conditions efficiently
