We're looking for a Buying Assistant to join a leading global sportswear brand's Footwear Merchandising team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in footwear or apparel buying, merchandising, product creation, or retail who is passionate about consumer products and market trends.
Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite at PHK | Fridays Work from Home)
Key Responsibilities- Support the Footwear Merchandising team with buying and merchandising activities.
- Organize work and business systems to support merchandising initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and consumer insights.
- Analyze retail performance metrics including Sell-Through, Turn, ASP, and UPT.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product and merchandising strategies.
- 1–2 years of experience in:
- Footwear Buying
- Apparel Buying
- Retail Buying
- Product Creation
- Retail or Digital Commerce
- Strong understanding of retail performance metrics:
- Sell-Through
- Turn
- ASP
- UPT
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Previous experience with a leading global sportswear brand is a plus.
- Local candidates in the Beaverton/Portland area.
