Part-Time Boutique Shipping & Fulfillment Team Member

VRM Productions is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our growing online boutique and e-commerce business. We carry a fun and constantly changing variety of boutique merchandise, so we’re looking for someone who is organized, learns products quickly, and enjoys working in a busy, upbeat environment.

The primary focus of this position will be picking, packing, boxing, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Experience with picking/packing orders, shipping, order fulfillment, retail, or e-commerce is preferred. An eye for detail is especially important—you’ll need to make sure customers receive exactly what they ordered.

Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is a big plus. Applicants must be computer proficient, comfortable learning new software, and able to navigate online systems efficiently.

Boutique or retail experience is a plus! Someone who enjoys learning about new products and can quickly become familiar with different styles, colors, sizes, and merchandise would be a great fit.

Social media experience is a HUGE plus! The main responsibility of this position will be shipping and fulfillment, but additional hours may be available for someone interested in helping in other areas of our growing business, including social media.

This is an active position. Applicants must be able to be on their feet for the majority of the shift, regularly bend and reach, and lift packages weighing up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.

Part-time with flexible scheduling. This position can work well around school, family responsibilities, or another job. We care more about the work getting done accurately and on time than having someone work a rigid schedule. Reliability and consistent availability are important.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Someone who is reliable, organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. You should be comfortable in a fast-moving environment, enjoy learning about different products, and take pride in making sure orders are packed correctly and ready to reach our customers.

Previous experience is preferred, but attitude, dependability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn matter just as much. We will train the right person.

• Pick, pack, box, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Process, update, and fulfill customer orders using online platorms such as Shopify and Pirate Ship, including creating shipping labels and updating order statuses
• Organize merchandise and maintain an orderly shipping area
• Learn and identify a constantly changing variety of products
• Assist with additional e-commerce, website, and retail tasks as needed

• Dependable, self motivated, and highly detail-oriented
• Proficient with computers and online systems, with the ability to quickly learn new software and e-commerce platforms
• Able to work independently, stay on task, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Able to remain on your feet and physically active for the majority of the shift, including frequent bending, reaching, and moving boxes
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs with or without reasonable accomodation
• Previous shipping, order fulfillment, retail, boutique, or e-commerce experience preferred
• Familiarity with Shopify, Pirate Ship, or similar platforms is benificial but not required
• Interest or experience with social media is highly desirable

Part-time position with flexible scheduling. Hours may vary depending on volume and business needs, with the possibility of additional hours as our business continues to grow. We are willing to work with the right person to find a consistent schedule that works for both sides.
