Assistant Buyer:
An Assistant buyer is responsible for supporting the buyer in all aspects of the business including product sourcing, pricing metrics, sku maintenance, vendor communication, forecasting order quantities, enter/communicate/follow up merchandising orders, sample management, vendor meeting prep and participation, store distribution to maximize sales, and competitive analysis. The assistant buyer is a buyer in training and may eventually be responsible for a product category with limited sales volume.
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor and follow up on organizing, managing and returning vendor samples. (receiving, logging, returns)
Position Requirements:
- Work from REEDS Home Office 2 days a week minimum
- Ability to travel
- Willingness to attend after hours job functions; dinners, trainings, events, when needed
- Conduct business affairs in a legal and ethical manner, building a socially conscious environment.
