Work with our Largest and most Strategic Accounts
You’ll be selling Akamai solutions to new and existing customers within the Cyber Security and Compute space. You will be responsible for new business development and existing customers. Working with various functions on lead generation to deal closure, customer management & renewals. You’ll be supported by cross-functional internal teams, ensuring success with new customer acquisition & building customer loyalty.
Responsibilities- Prospecting and acquiring new customers; upselling & cross‑selling the Akamai portfolio to the install base.
- Fostering long‑term relationships through positioning valued solutions to meet customers’ unique needs.
- Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting, managing contract renewals and minimising lost revenue and churn.
- Working with integrated cross‑functional teams to ensure customers realise the value of their Akamai services.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cyber security and cloud compute.
- Have relevant sales experience working with multi‑vertical companies in the MEA region.
- Have experience selling enterprise‑class technology software, SaaS, and internet‑based technology solutions to enterprise‑class companies.
- Demonstrate experience of account management with short‑term and long‑term planning, selling value at C‑Level.
- Have experience working in a collaborative, results‑oriented environment building executive‑level relationships with high‑level customers.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English and Arabic is a must, with experience managing internal and external communications remotely.
