Market Development Manager – Radiometer
Radiometer, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Market Development Manager (MDM) to nurture and maximize current customer relationships while cultivating new or competitive accounts within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a territory plan to grow market share, win competitive conversions, and achieve annual revenue targets across assigned product lines.
- Maintain accurate sales funnel, customer contacts, activities, and forecast using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Introduce new business opportunities for Radiometer product lines and coordinate favorable pricing and contract terms in line with company growth objectives.
- Leverage existing relationships across Radiometer and other Danaher operating companies to improve visibility, customer intimacy, and win‑rates.
- Plan, organize, and execute sales calls and lead accounts throughout the sales cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Scientific/Business major or other scientific major preferred).
- 5+ years of sales experience in medical diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, medical device, or academia and research, including capital equipment sales.
- Strong understanding of bioprocessing, therapeutic drug development, veterinary, and agriculture markets is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database/CRM management.
Physical Requirements
- Estimated travel of 50–70% or greater, including overnight travel across a 10–15 state territory and 10% of travel outside the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
This role is eligible for remote work arrangements. Salary range: $95,000 – $100,000 (subject to change). Competitive commission, bonus, and incentive pay are also available. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
