ResponsibilitiesPreferred location: Basel, Switzerland and around
This is a remote position
Major Responsibilities
60% Major responsibility in Sales: Visiting existing customers and developing new customers. Support the distributor network in the Region. Reach the sales target for the region by driving the core products. Intensive support for the professional fire department (Pillar City).
10% Major responsibility Project: Develop demand for the following Core Product Groups 01 (SCBA) 36 (Fire Helmets) 16 (Fire, technical, wildland suits) 08 (Gas Detection) Switzerland PG36
20% Major responsibility sales organization: Organization of the weekly customer visiting plans. Anytime clean and correct on time reporting to the Sales Manager with the available tools “Sales Forces”.
- Customer visit plans must be efficient and effective on cost and time and has to be planned with hotel accommodations to be sure of efficiency.
- Main Focus:
Acquisition of new customers together with Chanel Partner Sales. - Customer potential analysis, customer visits, consulting, preparing quotations, project coordination with internal specialist departments.
5% Major responsibility National and International public appearance: Participation on national trade shows, organization of customer regional oriented open doors activities with Chanel Partners
5% Product specialist: Participation in Product Specialist team to contribute and help to develop customer’s needs.
QualificationsExperience (required):
- A minimum of 5 years in sales experience (preferred in PPE products)
- Comprehensive understanding of current Fire Fighting standards and practices
- Written & spoken German and English, French is additional plus
- Project experience
- Technical skills
Experience (preferred):
- Fire fighter experience
- Chanel Partner sales experience
- Social skills intern- and external (Team player)
- Ability to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation or priorities
