HSF National Sales Market Specialist (Remote opportunity)
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Market Specialist to join our National Sales Team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the broader customer and hotel teams in the markets you are deployed to, helping keep Hyatt a leading hospitality company. TheOpportunity
We are seeking a self‑motivated Sales Professional with expertise in driving high‑value revenue across Hyatt’s Essentials portfolio, specifically for new hotel openings and emerging markets. This role is critical to accelerating market share growth and supporting successful brand launches through strategic prospecting, relationship building, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Portfolio Focus:
Drive revenue for new hotel openings and conversions from accounts not currently served by the Hyatt Sales Force. - Market Development:
Research and evaluate accounts with potential to generate across Hyatt brands, focusing on extended‑stay and select‑service segments. - Prospecting & Acquisition:
Utilize internal and external tools to identify and solicit new accounts in transient and group segments, including opportunities not managed by the Hyatt Sales Force. - Analytics & Strategy:
Leverage market analytics to target high‑value accounts, especially long stays and multi‑segment opportunities. - Relationship Building:
Develop B2B customer relationships, prepare presentations, attend networking events, and represent Hyatt at industry functions. - Prepare and deliver introductory presentations to prospective accounts.
- Travel as needed for in‑market engagement, networking events, and sales blitzes.
- Manage new accounts until turnover to the Hyatt National Sales Team is complete.
- Build, send, and close referrals across the Americas and other regions as appropriate.
- Demonstrate commitment to Hyatt’s core values in all interactions.
- Experience
Required:
Minimum 5 years of hotel experience in the same field, industry, or equivalent business function. - Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Sales, or Business; computer proficiency (Microsoft Office); familiarity with Envision, EAS, Agency 360, Lanyon RFP, Linked In Navigator; experience with openings/conversions and multiple hotel and brand experience.

Salary range: $78,500–$97,000, depending on experience, skills, and location. The final pay will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage. We encourage applications from candidates who meet all or most qualifications and are inspired to enhance their career.
