Our marketplace (B2B platform and B2C app) standardizes the offering of thousands of truck service locations across Europe. Historically, locations were decentralized; with TRAVIS, companies that transport goods over land can access services in a centralized and standardized way. We are trusted by the likes of Amazon, Girteka, DB Schenker and most of Europe’s largest transport companies.
As we keep growing, we are looking for a new account executive to join our team.

🌍 We are looking for an experienced account manager in transport companies. Do you speak English (mandatory) and ideally one of the following languages:
Lithuanian, Polish, German, Romanian, Bulgarian, Danish, Russian? Great, you’re exactly who we want to talk to. We welcome multilingual talents who can help us expand and strengthen our customer relationships across Europe.
Goal – You manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers across Europe. At a minimum, this means English-speaking customers and customers in an additional language (see requirements section below).
KPIs – Retention, revenue growth and diversification of revenue.
Tracking results & patterns – You are aware of customer patterns, notice trends and opportunities in both our reporting tools and in your CRM-based activities, reports and pipeline overviews.
Build relationships – You build strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers at both medium and enterprise-sized transport companies.
Customer management – You draft a plan to do customer business reviews and check-ins. In these, you identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer needs, usage patterns, and TRAVIS business goals.
Account implementation & activation – Strong focus on drafting plans with customers that moves them from pilot to loyal customer and from sales contact to a TRAVIS advocate.
Negotiations & contracts – You lead commercial (re) negotiations and draft contracts that form a strong basis for ongoing collaboration.
Product knowledge – You need a very strong understanding of our commercial, operational and technical ways of working and act as a bridge between customers and our product team.
Translating customer needs – You identify and translate customer needs into improved or new solutions (commercial, operational or technical).
In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining strong business relationships with our customers. Our minimum requirements and expectations for an ideal candidate are:
Languages:
English (mandatory) and ideally one of Lithuanian, Polish, German, Romanian, Bulgarian, Danish, Russian.Experience:
experience in the transport industry (mandatory) and understanding of how transport companies and planners work, with a preference for a commercial role (e.g., at a transport company, a TMS provider, a fuel card issuer or another ecosystem party).Location:
TRAVIS is based in Tilburg, NL. We prefer people to work (at least partially) from our office. If you have commercial industry experience, mostly remote work is an option.
Languages:
fluency in English is required; fluency in an additional European language is a plus.3+ years of demonstrated experience in the transport industry, preferably in a commercial role.
Experience with large, complex, C-level engagements and relationship-building.
Proven experience in negotiations, solution-based selling and challenger sales.
Ability to grow a portfolio through up- and cross-selling.
Experience in opening markets or specific industries/verticals is a plus.
Track record of building client portfolios from scratch or managing extensive portfolios is a plus.
Interpersonal skills & situational awareness; adaptable communication for different styles.
Ownership: assertive and able to drive complex tasks to completion.
Solution-oriented: identify issues and opportunities internally and externally.
