Job Overview:  We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Officer to expand our business in North America within the coatings industry. This is a remote, work-from-home position based in Canada, requiring a candidate with strong business acumen, excellent sales skills, and a deep understanding of coatings and specialty chemicals.
The ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years of sales experience in the coatings, paints, or specialty chemicals industry. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel across North America and occasionally to South America.

Key Responsibilities   Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the coatings business in North America.
Identify and engage with new clients and business opportunities in the coatings and specialty chemicals sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with coatings manufacturers, distributors, and industry partners.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and business growth opportunities.
Manage sales negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract agreements.
Work closely with technical and operations teams to provide customers with tailored solutions.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and strategic plans.
Travel within North America and occasionally to South America to visit clients and attend industry events.
Requirements   5 to 7 years of sales experience in the coatings, paints, or specialty chemicals industry.
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and develop sales strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for client meetings.
Willingness to travel occasionally to South America.
Age preference:
Late twenties or thirties.
