Client Account Executive – Opti9 Tech

We’re looking for an experienced sales professional who is a self‑starter, enjoys a fun and collaborative culture, and can help expand our business by building and nurturing partnerships, positioning technology solutions, and selling cloud services to key partners, clients, and prospects.
Responsibilities- Create and execute key sales and business development initiatives to increase sales pipeline, working with the Marketing Department to align campaigns and drive existing business growth.
- Drive market share in a defined territory with targeted partners, customers, and prospects.
- Meet or exceed quarterly targets.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan through lead generation and customer acquisition tactics.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Opti9 offerings.
- Accelerate customer adoption.
- Work closely with AWS teams to define and execute go‑to‑market strategies.
- Develop relationships with AWS sales teams and individual sellers to collaboratively solve customer problems and drive business outcomes.
- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption and develop new partners to further enhance market positioning.
- Work with Opti9 Leadership to manage pricing, contract negotiations, and proposal presentations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Commit to in‑office presence cadence sufficient to drive revenue and close winning business.
- Experience selling managed services, application development services, consulting services, or cloud solutions tied to enterprise application and infrastructure management and hosting.
- 5+ years of significant industry knowledge and experience.
- Sales expertise in cloud computing, professional and managed services, and/or IT solutions practice areas.
- Demonstrable experience developing C‑level relationships and presenting solutions on an ROI basis.
- Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with C‑level executives.
- Experience working collaboratively in a team‑based environment and executing upon an agreed strategy.
- Direct field experience working with SMB and Enterprise accounts.
- Extensive customer network and expert level hunting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- This is a remote position; however, the candidate should live in the Vancouver area.
