Area: Asia Pacific — reporting to Sales Director in APAC.
Location: Based in home office, located possibly in Singapore.
Candidate: should ideally be from a Sales/Technical background with a minimum of 5 years ASD experience.
Qualifications: Degree educated
Languages: English/Chinese
Experience- Networking with M&E Consultant Engineers
- Working with contractors & End users on Fire detection systems
- Technical knowledge on Fire detection design and operation
- Knowledge of Fire Protection Market in Asia
- Hands-on knowledge on testing and commissioning ASD
Main Objective is to support Sales Strategy in APAC with specification and brand awareness: to provide technical sales support to Account managers, qualify technical designs, provide ASD design support to consultants & distributors. A secondary objective will be to manage ASD training for all stakeholders in APAC.
Duties- Recognize main 8 major drivers of ASD
- Technical support of ASD including Design verification and on-site support/project meetings
- Prepare technical presentations for training and technical meetings
- Support Distributors both commercial and technical
- Support Sales team with technical demonstration to stakeholders
- Build up intelligence of major projects for regional activities (Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, Taiwan)
- Liaising and coordinating with INTERCO Business development managers in other Regions
The successful individual will be specifically targeted or rewarded by revenue, with a necessity to monitor achievement to gauge success of initiatives and bonus rewards. Documentation of initiatives and regular reporting are essential.
