Position SummaryBusiness Development Specialist (BDS) engages Health Care Professionals (HCPs) in telephone conversations to promote assigned client products, maximize product sales potential, and meet program and client objectives. The BDS develops and maintains relationships with HCPs, educates them on product features, benefits, safety, approved indications, and the loyalty program to ensure appropriate use. The BDS utilizes approved tools, maintains knowledge of product and program, collaborates with client field teams, and may conduct on-site visits for in‑services.
EssentialDuties / Responsibilities
- Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills and approved messaging.
- Manage daily call activity to influence customers and increase platform awareness.
- Profile and manage targeted list of accounts, providing value‑added benefits to grow product and platform awareness.
- Create and implement business plans to achieve business goals.
- Maintain call productivity and metrics required by the program.
- Achieve quarterly client KPIs.
- Promote client products via telephone (outbound/inbound), engaging assigned targets in discussions to meet company goals.
- Maintain knowledge of client products, programs, and all platforms.
- Complete required data entry in Amplity/Client CRM systems.
- Listen and respond to customer needs and questions within program timelines.
- Collaborate with client field sales managers to plan account coverage.
- Create and maintain a positive impression with client customers.
- Prepare reports for management as needed.
- Fully comply with laws, regulations, Amplity policies, code of conduct, privacy guidelines, and federal/state laws.
- Participate in teleconferences, national/regional meetings, and training sessions and represent client at conventions when applicable.
- Other projects as assigned.
- Report to Amplity Performance Manager or Program Director.
- Work closely with other team members and home office support.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, client contacts, and all client business units.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2+ years of business or sales experience.
- Flexibility to cover multiple time zones and travel to office sites if needed.
- Willingness to cover all time zones if needed.
- Successfully pass all required Amplity and client training.
- Excellent technical skills with Microsoft Office and related programs.
- B2B or Inside Sales experience.
- Aesthetics experience.

- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record; ability to travel.
