Responsibilities
  • As CRM Key Account Manager, lead strategic engagement and build impactful partnerships across primary care–relevant hospitals, group practices, HCP networks, specialty clinics, and emerging healthcare ecosystems - driving meaningful change where it matters most.
  • Lead strategic account planning and execution, ensuring all activities are aligned with TA CRM objectives
  • Conduct deep analysis of patient pathways to identify unmet needs, systemic drivers, and barriers to care
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Medical, Market Access, Sales, Marketing, Portfolio KAMs) to deliver integrated solutions that optimize patient outcomes
  • Map and engage complex stakeholder ecosystems acting as a connector between internal teams and external partners to drive clinical adoption and formulary inclusion
Requirements
  • Education or background/experience in healthcare, commercial discipline with a strong focus on marketing, sales, and account management
  • Proven successful experience in account management including business development
  • Experience working with hospitals, regional/national group practices, HCP networks, and/or digital health providers (or similar)
  • Excellent communication, advanced negotiation, and project management skills
  • Fluent in English and the respective regional language (German for Basel-Bern/Ost-CH, French for Romandie-Tessin, Italian is a plus)
  • Digital fluency (analytics, CRM platforms, telehealth models, Microsoft Office, Veeva, Power BI, Salesforce)
  • Must reside in Switzerland or be willing to relocate
Boehringer Ingelheim Switzerland
  • This is a field-based role in Region WEST - a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Switzerland is required
  • Regular collaboration with office-based colleagues and presence in the Boehringer Ingelheim Switzerland office in Basel is expected
