Mission: As a key member of our Sales organization, you will operate in a dynamic, collaborative, and growth-focused environment where your ideas and contributions are valued.
You will be responsible for driving sales of Hymson’s Novolas product portfolio across the assigned territory with particular emphasis on Top Customers and increasing the penetration of Hymson’s Novolas Products in the region.
This is a field-based/home-office role, ideally located near the geographic center of Freemont / California.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Drive disproportionate support and engagement with Hymson Top Customers.
- Increase market share of Hymson’s Novolas Products within the assigned territory.
- Expand Hymson’s presence in key target industries, including Automotive, Medical, and Electronics.
- Develop a deep understanding of the regional market dynamics, customer landscape, and competitive environment; create strategic action plans to achieve growth beyond market trends.
- Respond promptly to technical and commercial customer inquiries, including troubleshooting, training coordination, preparing quotations, recommending equipment, and conducting product demonstrations.
- Proactively engage with existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, and support the entire customer lifecycle.
- Prepare and deliver regular regional reports such as monthly sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, key account updates, annual sales plans, and strategic initiatives.
- Utilize all company sales tools (sales presentations, demo equipment, roadshows, trade shows) to support business development.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Customer Project Management, Engineering, Shipping/Logistics, and others to ensure best-in-class customer experience.
- Partner with Marketing—including Mar Comm and Product Line Managers—to support lead generation, product positioning, pricing discussions, and trade show activities.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to visit customers and build long-term partnerships, positioning Hymson Novolas as their preferred manufacturing and laser-equipment expert.
- Provide training and onboarding assistance to new sales personnel and contribute to the development of sales training materials or protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering preferred) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the process equipment or related capital equipment industry.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and closing complex equipment sales.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- B2B sales experience strongly preferred.

- Strong relationship-building skills; enjoys customer interaction and collaboration.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory (approx. 50%).
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
- Business Spanish proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong technical aptitude—electrical and mechanical background is a plus.
- Experience in plastics processing and/or Laser processing is an advantage.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
