Territory Sales Manager Mid and South

Summary

Growing chemical additives company is in need of a highly qualified Territory Sales Manager for the Mid and South Texas region. The successful candidate must be technically savvy, experienced in solution-based sales and able to build lasting relationships. This is a home-office based position. The selected candidate will be offered a lucrative compensation package to include a strong base salary, bonus, and a full benefits package.

Company assets will be provided, including work laptop, cell phone, and vehicle. Candidates must currently live in the assigned region. No relocation.

• Experience in technical sales or related in chemicals, industrial or manufacturing equipment or goods, etc.
• Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining customer relationships
• Ability to create and sell value based solutions
• Must be able to learn as needed and understand customers’ business and needs
• Strong organizational skills
• A self-motivated “hunter” mindset

• Bachelors’ degree in Chemistry, Business, Marketing or related
• Must exemplify professionalism in selling and convey a strong sense of urgency towards achieving sales goals.
• 5+ years’ experience in technical sales
• Experience selling lubricants and fuel additives or other specialty chemicals highly preferred
• Candidate must currently live in and have familiarity with assigned market geography – Mid & South Texas. Northern territory border is south of Waco.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and negotiating skills.
• Basic PC skills and use of spreadsheet construction and analysis, word processing and data base management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
