Position: REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR - WORKFORCE HOSPITALITY, NC, FL (REMOTE)

Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Director will be responsible for identifying and growing new business for hospitality amenities in corporate services & specialty venues including front desk, concierge and meeting management services and drop off catering
. This position is remote with an expectation of up to 50% travel to actively hunt and close new business.

Candidate MUST live in the assigned territory:
North Carolina or Florida.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business revenue while ensuring strong profitability
  • Identify key targets in the corporate services environment and develop/execute a pursuit strategy that results in new business
  • Develop winning sales proposals and respond to complex RFPs
  • Build rapport and key relationships over the long-term selling cycle at multiple levels within the client organization
  • Identify necessary support resources to successfully close new business
  • Partner with operating colleagues to develop winning solution and pricing strategies
  • Communicate effectively across the organization both horizontally and vertically
  • Execute the Compass Sales Process
  • Consistently exceed sales quota
  • Successful candidate will be based in a major U.S. city in the southeast with preference in S. Florida or Charlotte
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in new business development; previous experience within a similar or high touch/white glove service type industry
  • Experience in catering/events is a plus
  • A track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and targets over time
  • Experience developing winning sales proposals and responding to complex RFPs
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work with CRM database management system
  • Ability to represent the organization at industry and non-industry events
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities; strong time management skills
  • High energy, positive attitude and excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory and occasionally outside of territory
  • Team player who wants to contribute to a top-caliber sales organization
  • BA or equivalent experience
