The Customer Success and Inside Sales Specialist partners with Velrose’s specialty retail and boutique customers through relationship-driven outreach, proactive follow-up, and order support. The focus is on nurturing long-term relationships, strengthening engagement, and providing a high-touch customer experience. This is a consultative, service-oriented role.
Responsibilities- Manage and support a portfolio of specialty retail and boutique accounts
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls to maintain relationships and follow up on opportunities
- Develop a strong understanding of customer preferences, buying history, and product needs
- Proactively recommend relevant products, new arrivals, and catalog updates
- Increase the number of customer touchpoints to support conversion and retention
- Facilitate orders and coordinate internally to ensure smooth processing
- Maintain accurate customer notes, activity tracking, and follow-up records
Required Experience and Skills
- 2 or more years of experience in customer success
, inside sales
, or phone-based sales - Experience supporting retail
, DTC, apparel, or consumer goods brands - Comfortable making and receiving frequent phone calls
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Ability to adapt conversations to a wide range of customer types
- Clear spoken and written English
Preferred Experience
- Experience with in lingerie, intimate apparel, or fashion wholesale
- Experience supporting boutique or specialty retail customers
- Familiarity with CRM systems and order management tools
