Territory Sales Manager - REMOTE - Adhesives - Midwest DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a Territory Sales Manager (Midwest & Canada) to lead growth initiatives across the specialty adhesives business. This individual will be responsible for driving new business development while expanding relationships and opportunities with existing accounts. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, and skilled at opening new doors and building sustainable customer relationships. Growth is a key part of this role and a driving factor for the business.
Territory included is ND, SD, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, NE, KS, MO, OK, AR, LA, TX (except El Paso area), Western NY
- Canada: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland
- Hunt, identify, qualify, develop and close new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Manage and expand existing customer relationships to maximize revenue and EBITDA growth. Key measures will be sales revenue, gross margin and pipeline.
- Execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Utilize CRM to manage leads, track opportunities, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent prospecting, networking, and follow-up.
- Partner with internal teams (Customer Service, Product Management & Technical Operations) to deliver exceptional customer experience.
- Conduct in-person customer visits, product demos, and presentations to decision-makers at all levels.
- Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and territory analyses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within manufacturing, industrial products, or adhesives/tape markets.
- Proven “hunter” track record of developing new business and achieving sales goals.
- Strong CRM discipline and experience - preferably Microsoft Dynamics®
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a results-driven environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel extensively (approximately 50–70%).
