What You Bring to the Table

We’re looking for a motivated sales pro who is ready to make an immediate impact. The ideal candidate has:

  • A proven track record of media sales success
    , consistently meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Experience in radio and/or digital media sales (digital sales experience is a major plus).
  • Deep understanding of local marketing
    , consumer behavior, and advertising strategies.
  • Confidence in all stages of the sales process: from prospecting and needs analysis to proposal, presentation, and closing.
  • Familiarity with integrated campaigns involving traditional and digital media.
  • Strong planning, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • A consultative mindset focused on delivering ROI for your clients.

Key Responsibilities

As an Account Executive at Pillar Media, you will:

  • Prospect and acquire new clients using a consultative sales approach.
  • Manage, service, and grow an existing list of active advertising accounts.
  • Sell a mix of traditional radio, sponsor ships, digital advertising, and custom promotions.
  • Understand client business goals, KPIs, and marketing challenges to craft tailored solutions.
  • Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and strategy sessions with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure timely collections and account servicing.
  • Attend required team meetings and one-on-ones with your supervisor.
