Logistics Sales Executive – Chicago, IL.
This is not your average 3PL sales role.
MRB Logistics is growing fast, and we’re hiring an experienced Logistics Sales Executive to help lead our expansion in the Chicago market. This role reports directly to Greg Coseriu and is built for a proven sales professional who wants real autonomy, real support, and real upside.
Who We Are:MRB Logistics is a full service, non-asset 3PL delivering customized transportation, warehousing, and supply-chain solutions nationwide. We don’t push one-size-fits-all freight, we design solutions around each client’s operation, whether that’s a single container or a fully integrated supply chain strategy.
Our mission is simple: disrupt the status quo, solve real problems, and deliver concierge-level service in a volatile market. We win business by being smarter, faster, and more aligned with our customers than traditional providers.
Joining MRB isn’t just another job, it’s joining a vision, a family, and a company built for long-term growth, while still respecting work-life balance.
The Opportunity:As a Logistics Sales Executive, you’ll own your business. You’ll have the freedom to build your own strategy, target the industries you know best, and leverage MRB’s operations, pricing, and leadership support to close and grow profitable accounts.
This is a field sales role focused on new business development, strategic account growth, and long‑term customer partnerships.
What You’ll Do:- Drive new transportation and warehousing revenue by identifying, prospecting, and closing mid‑market and national accounts.
- Sell a full suite of non‑asset logistics services, including:
- FTL (dry & reefer)
- LTL
- Drayage & Intermodal
- Tradeshow logistics
- Warehousing & distribution solutions
- Develop and execute a personalized sales plan aligned with your strengths and target verticals.
- Conduct daily outbound prospecting via phone, email, and in‑person meetings.
- Build trust with customers through value‑based selling, strategic reviews, and proactive account management.
- Interpret market conditions and present compelling, data‑driven cases for change to customer stakeholders.
- Negotiate pricing, manage opportunities, and oversee shipments through delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with operations and leadership to deliver best‑in‑class solutions.
- Participate in weekly internal sales and operations meetings.
The right candidate:
- Has a growth mindset and thrives in a fast‑paced, competitive environment
- Is comfortable owning outcomes and being accountable for results
- Builds long‑term relationships, not transactional freight moves
- Can articulate past sales wins and clearly define how they’ll replicate success at MRB
- 3+ years of documented logistics or transportation sales experience
- Non-asset brokerage or asset-based carrier sales accepted
- Proven experience selling transportation and logistics services across multiple modes
- Strong C‑suite and decision‑maker communication skills
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to travel up as needed
- Ability to work independently from the field or home office
- Competitive base salary ($75,000 – $150,000 DOE)
- Uncapped commission with meaningful upside
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Health Savings Account (HSA)
- Paid Time Off & holidays
- Ongoing training, mentorship, and career development
- Direct access to leadership and experienced internal support teams
During your first week (or two), you may be asked to report to our Fort Worth, TX office for onboarding, systems training, and immersion into MRB’s culture and processes. Ongoing structure will be determined in partnership with leadership.
