We are a Singapore start up company, looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to grow our business in the tourism and hospitality sector in Indonesia
. This role focuses on building partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, hospitality groups, and related partners to drive revenue through customised packages, services, experiences, or hospitality-related offerings.
The ideal candidate understands how the travel trade works, has strong industry contacts, and is confident in negotiating commercial agreements.
You are able to work from home and remotely.
5 days working week
Have your own transport will be a plus.
Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development- Identify and develop new business opportunities within:
- Corporate travel and MICE clients
- Hotels, attractions, F&B partners, or hospitality groups
- Promote company services, packages, experiences, or hospitality products
- Build strategic partnerships to create bundled offers and collaborations
- Achieve assigned revenue and sales targets
- Manage key accounts and maintain strong long-term partnerships
- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and networking
- Understand partner needs and propose suitable commercial solutions
- Handle client feedback, service issues, and follow-ups professionally
- Develop sales strategies for inbound/outbound tourism markets
- Monitor tourism trends, travel seasons, and market demands
- Identify new market segments (e.g., corporate, student groups, special interest tours)
- Work on promotional campaigns and trade partnerships
- Negotiate commercial terms, rates, and agreements with partners
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and partnership agreements
- Support tender submissions and corporate proposals where required
- Work closely with operations and marketing teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Coordinate group bookings, special events, or promotional activities
- Ensure accurate documentation for bookings, contracts, and billing
- Represent the company at travel fairs, trade shows, and networking events
- Build brand visibility within tourism and hospitality networks
- Maintain sales pipeline and account records
- Provide weekly/monthly sales performance reports
- Forecast revenue and track market opportunities
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in:
- Tourism
- Travel agencies or tour operations
- Hospitality (hotels, attractions, travel services)
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets
- Experience dealing with B2B travel trade partners
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent networking and relationship-building ability
- Good understanding of travel industry distribution channels
- Ability to design and sell packages, experiences, or service-based offerings
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Target-oriented and commercially focused
- Proactive, confident, and persuasive
- Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset
- Able to travel for meetings and industry events
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or related field preferred
